His RSP Writers Project Team is quarterback-driven on offense and features a 4-3 defense with two well-known 3-4 outside linebackers as bookends in his front. Offense

Quarterback Depth Chart
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and/or fit within the system) |
QB1 | Aaron Rodgers | 20 | I’m a believer that QB can and will take your team as far as he can personally go. Rodgers is the only current Elite QB in his prime. He’s probably the most well-rounded QB of this generation. By adding a player of Rodgers’ ability, everyone on this offense instantly becomes better. He’s a skills-multiplier.
QB3 | Stephen McGee | 0.5 | McGee is a fun developmental QB because he’s very athletic and naturally gifted. I went cheap at backup because, like most teams, we’re screwed if Rodgers misses too much time. |
Fullback and Tight End Depth Chart
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and fit within the system) |
TE1 | Tony Moeaki | 1.5 | If healthy, Moeaki would be valued much higher. He’s an inline TE with very good hands. Not the fastest or most athletic, but Moeaki has the tools to be a very reliable TE.
TE2 | Orson Charles | 2.5 | Charles is our mismatch/move-TE. We’ll put him in motion, split him out wide, and he can hold his own as a blocker. As a former WR, Charles showcases his receiving skills reguarly. I love his release off the line and explosion in-and-out of breaks. Huge potential.
TE/FB | H-Back | Charles Clay | 0.5 | Clay is hybrid FB/TE/H-back type in the mold of a poor man’s Aaron Hernandez. Clay can line up everywhere. He’s a developmental player but his matchup advantages will get him on the field early. |
Tackle Depth Chart | ||||
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and fit within the system) |
LT | Anthony Collins | 4.5 | I’ve seen Collins play LT in college, as a rookie, and in preseason for the Bengals. Everytime, he’s a very good pass blocker. He leaves some to be desired in the run game but I believe that’s a mental thing. He gives max-effort and is always playing after the whistle. In this offense, I have no issues with Collins as my starting LT.
RT | Backup LT | Cordy Glenn | 4.5 | Glenn starts at RT for me but if needed, he can play LT in this offense. Glenn is massive and long. He plays high but can make up for it with surprising athleticism. Glenn is more suited to play OT than inside in my opinion. |
Swing OT | Marcus Cannon | 2 | Cannon can play 4/5 OL spots and would backup RT if Glenn is asked to play LT. Cannon is very big and can play with a streak. |
Guard Depth Chart | ||||
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and fit within the system) |
LG | Will Rackley | 2.5 | Rackley has high upside but seemed to be lost at times as a rookie. He’s coming from D-II and playing a new position, so I’ll give him a 2nd chance because he flashed enough potential for me.
RG | David DeCastro | 7 | DeCastro is the best OG prospect in a long time. His pulling ability and 2nd level work are rare attributes. Having him on the OL should create longer runs. DeCastro needs some pass pro work but I think he can be this generation’s Alan Faneca. Multiple Pro Bowls.
T/G | Brandon Washington | 2 | Washington can play OT and OG. I’ll use him to backup both Guard spots and possible replace Rackley if that situation doesn’t work out. Washington has the potential to be a nice power run blocking guard.
G/C/T | Clint Boling | 1 | Boling has played T/G in college and G/C in the NFL. Having him as the utility player can come in handy. He needs to build his upper body strength if he wants to play. |
Center Depth Chart | ||||
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and fit within the system) |
OC | Peter Konz | 3.5 | Konz is ready to play day one but has some past injury issues. I love his experience and production. Konz’s biggest task will be communicating and picking up blitzes in this pass-first offense.
C/G | Brandon Fusco | 1 | Fusco is a D-II developmental player. He’s big and can be powerful but needs refinement. Could play guard also. |
Defense

Cornerback and Safety Depth Chart
Starting Position | Role (optional) | Name | Value | Commentary (Why you picked the player: specific skills and talents you like, potential upside, and/or fit within the system) |
CB1 | Darrelle Revis | 12 | Revis is as shutdown as it gets today. He’s one of the top 10 players in the NFL and changes the way offenses attack the defense. He’s a master of redirection and hand-usage. Probably should get flagged more often but he’s found a way to tip-toe the boarder of illegal and locked down.
CB2 | Nickel CB | Brandon Boykin | 4.5 | Revis is as shutdown as it gets today. He’s one of the top 10 players in the NFL and changes the way offenses attack the defense. He’s a master of redirection and hand-usage. Probably should get flagged more often but he’s found a way to tip-toe the board |
CB3 | Adam Jones | 2 | Jones will come in a play outside in nickel packages. He can play both sides and will play opposite Revis (Covers #1 WR). Jones is still very athletic but can bite of double moves and play fakes. Keeping him disciplined is the battle with Jones.
CB4 | Brandon Ghee | 0.5 | Ghee has been a disappointment so far in his young career. He looks like a starting CB. Tall, long, fast, will hit. He needed to stay healthy and play with confidence. So far this offseason he has. Upside is there.
CB5 | Corey Graham | 1 | Graham is a special teams aces and can pay some defense as needed. He was a target of mine as this project started.
0 | ||||
FS | Jairus Byrd | 5 | Byrd has become more than a play-making safety. He’s not a complete player that will play the run and make some hits. His ball skills are already top-notch, now Byrd has been much improved in every other aspect of a safey’s game. He’ll have to be my eyes back there with Nelson being the other safety.
SS | Reggie Nelson | 4 | Nelson has tranformed himself from a finesse free safety to a hard-hitting, run-stuffing saftey who can play both spots due to athleticism. Keep him from making too many reads and Nelson will reward you with steady play.
S/CB | Dwight Lowery | 0.5 | Lowery can play CB and Safety. He’ll be my 3rd safety to play in some nickel packages. He can come down and cover those slot WR/TE types as well as play the deep cover-1.
S | Reshad Jones | 1 | Jones has some starter ability to him. By some accounts, he’s putting together a good offseason in his bid to start in 2012. Getting him at this value could be a steal.
S | Corey Lynch | 0.5 | Lynch is a special teams staple and has some starting experience. |
